Serenity in Africa

Serenity is the state of being calm, peaceful and untroubled. In Africa today, there is a lot of war and killing, nation against nation, communal disputes and clashes, even government against its citizens. Hence the need for serenity. We all need to be at peace with one another. We must learn to thrive and work as one, never minding differences in our political or religious affiliations. But for there to be serenity, we must first learn to rise above hate. We must learn to love one another as people of one continent because, without love, there is no peace; where there is no love, there is trouble, hate, dispute. Serenity starts with us, showing love to everyone from our family to the society at large, even the strangest of all people. It spreads to everyone. Just as any other thing is contagious, so is love and this love births serenity at large.
