Steven Larbi (B.1990) in Accra, Ghana is a figurative Ballpen Artist. He graduated from Takoradi Technical University where he studied Graphic Design. After completion, he decided to pursue his childhood dream of becoming an Artist. As a self taught Artist, he creates hyper-realistic figurative Ballpen drawings that mostly project African Identity. Though his drawing style requires lots of patience, he takes pride in spending months to capture detailed expressions of his subjects, using a Ballpoint pen. In 2020, he was nominated for "Ghanaian Visual Artist of the Year" in the Ghana Arts and Culture Awards.
